My dog has a bald spot on her tail. What's causing it? Should I worry?

Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 9 months and 30 days old | 11 lbs

Cuddles has perfect health takes a sentinel once a month everymonth for fleas and heartworms. I noticed this morning she has a bald spot on her tail and have no idea what it is caused by or if i should worry ( km absolutely freaking out) ive attached a photo of the bqld spot normal my thumb for size reference and a zoomed in photo.

Hello. Please do not freak out, this just looks like a small area of irritation, a bit of dermatitis. I would just clean the area gently with an over the counter skin antiseptic like Hibiclens twice a day. If the area seems to be worsening, please see your vet next week, but there is nothing to be overly concerned about at this time. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
