Why is my kitten losing weight, has diarrhea, and blood in stool?

Hello my kitten is 15 weeks, he plays alote and is active but from few weeks he is heaving diarrhoea not that much severe but problem is that when he sits in my lap i can feel his bones i feel like he is getting weak he eats adult cat food and i have also seen some red color in his waste i have changed adult cat food to kitten cat food today

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. Changing to a kitten diet is a good idea. I recommend that you have Prince evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may choose to check for parasites and to start medications for diarrhea depending on the results. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
