My puppy vomited and is lethargic. Should I take him to the vet?

My 5 month old puppy vomitted all of his food he ate tonight and hes just laying around and not as active. Should I be concerned or wait until tomorrow to see how he is acting?

Poor guy. As long as he isn’t pacing, pale gums, panting or unresponsive, you should be able to wait until morning to get him checked out by your vet. Chances are he got into something that caused an acute upset stomach. Fast him tonight (not food only water) and then make sure to get him seen tomorrow for further treatment. A bland diet is recommended until you can get him seen. That consists of bland plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese or cottage cheese. I hope that your puppy Red feels better soon. Best wishes and take care.
