My dog is bleeding after surgery and won't let me put on a bandage.

Question

I have a one and a half year old Rottweiler. He had a lump in his leg.. earlier it was drained but now it is surgically removed. Even after the stitches the bleeding won't stop. N my pet is not allowing dressing. What can be done.? He is bleeding since yesterday. Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | 1 year and 5 months old

If you cant apply a bandage on the area to maintain adequate pressure that will prevent the bleeding to continue then you must take him back to the vet. slight bleeding up to 2-3 days post surgery is not uncommon though, especially if the blood seems to be slightly watery in color.
