My dog's lip bump tripled in size. Is this serious? When to see a vet?

Hi! I consulted you guys a few weeks ago about a bump on Rocco's lip. They thought it was just a wart. We had to go to the vet for a checkup a couple weeks ago and they said it was a papaloma and it should just go away or fall off soon. It has tripled in size in the last few weeks. I called my vet yesterday and today and I'm waiting for them to call back... I will attach photos of before (around Oct 20th with circle on picture) and now. Please advise. Thank you!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think that other things should be ruled out at this point. This could be a benign or malignant growth. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him reevaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. Good luck and have a good day!
