My puppy has yellow eye discharge. Is it an infection? What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My puppy's right eye has yellowish discharge. I think I see a little piece of fuzz in her eye, but I'm not sure. How can I treat her? What are signs of an eye infection?

It's very likely to be an eye infection, a yellowish discharge is a typical sign of this condition and often it is the only symptom. i would recommend taking Apollo to the vet as soon as possible in order to get it checked and treated, prescription antibiotic drops will be needed.
