My dog isn't eating his food properly. Should I be worried about his health?

I have a 7 years GSD male dog he is very healthy. But the problem is he will not eat properly the food which we are giving to the dog like i will give one time pedigree and one time curd rice but some time he will eat only one time .I want to know that my dog is healthy or not or does he have any health problems . Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 8 years and 9 months old | 50 lbs

Dogs thrive on routine and he will come to expect food if feed at the same times daily. Prepare his dog food and leave it down for 20 minutes before picking it up whether he has eaten or not. Repeat this at the next scheduled mealtime. You can add a bit of warm water or a teaspoon of plain baby food to the food to stimulate his appetite. Do not feed him any other foods between mealtimes. Feed only dog food s rice curd is not a healthy or balanced diet for a dog. Be firm and be consistent. Do not worry, Bruno will not starve. he will eat when he is hungry and realizes no other food or treats are forthcoming.
