My dog's scrotum is swollen, red, and warm. Is it infected?

Hi my dog was castrated 9 days ago his sack is very swollen,red in colour and warm to touch is this something to worry about thanks

Yes these signs must be immediately checked by your veterinarian as they could be compatible with a post-surgery complication (infection or possibly hemorrhage). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
