Why is my 10-year-old Chihuahua lethargic, not eating, red throat?

My 10 yr old chi has been lethargic x approx 3 days. Doesnt want her food, not drinking, sleeping constantly want me to held her. Throat very red way in back. Makes funny licking with tongue like maybe a bad tooth but nothing seen when checked. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 10 years and 9 months old | 9 lbs
