My 7-month-old kitten is throwing up and won't eat. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 months and 15 days old

I have a seven month old kitten. He's not gotten his vaccines or been tested yet. He's been throwing up since sometime after 0300 this morning. I didn't know it was him, as I have an older cat who has done this before, but it's never been a problem. However, I just came home -- it's 2117 -- and found one more throw up spot. Then, as I was cleaning up, I saw him throw up again, this time just water. He's refused to eat tonight. Do you have any advice or thoughts on what this could be?

There are a couple of things that could be causing Guinness to throw up such as a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or pancreatitis. I can tell you it's really serious when a cat refuses to eat, as they will develop a fatty liver if they do without eating for too long. I would take him into a vet asap. Best of luck.
