My dog was attacked. How to treat minor puncture wounds at home?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed

My dog got attacked and had a few minor puncture wounds on her head and face I have been keeping them clean and using antibiotic ointment to help prevent infection and abceses and I doing the right thing

Hello. You may indeed be doing the right thing. However, if any of the wounds become infected you will need to see your veterinarian for oral antibiotics. But if the wounds are relatively superficial, keeping things clean should suffice. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
