My dog was attacked. How to treat minor puncture wounds at home?

My dog got attacked and had a few minor puncture wounds on her head and face I have been keeping them clean and using antibiotic ointment to help prevent infection and abceses and I doing the right thing. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed

Hello. You may indeed be doing the right thing. However, if any of the wounds become infected you will need to see your veterinarian for oral antibiotics.
