My dog has a red patch on her chest I don't know what it is. She is a healthy Chihuahua mix, and she is 8 years old. I got her from a shelter, and when I got her the place told that they had to remove a cyst from her back. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 8 years and 10 months old | 13 lbs

Hello. This looks like an area of moist dermatitis most often caused by some type of chronic irritation. You can try cleaning the area with an OTC antibacterial solution called Hibiclens gently dabbing the area several times a day.
