My dog has a hard red bump that's scabbing. When should I see a vet?

I would recommend that you have Georgia examined by a vet. There can be many causes for a bump such as this, including insect bite reaction, deep bacterial or fungal infection, skin cancer, autoimmune disease, etc. After a thorough examination, your vet may recommend a biopsy to make a definitive diagnosis.
