Pet's info: Dog | Australian Cattle Dog | Male | 65 lbs
Hi my dog is a red heeler and is about 13 years old. He struggles with bad arthritis and we thought today was just a bad leg day for him. But he hasn’t moved all day until he ate some food. It was barely a few bites and he is always hungry. He hasn’t moved anymore and just been laying on his side not even moving an inch. We kept asking him if he wanted a treat and he didn’t even acknowledge it and when we gave him it he spit it out. He also peed on his bed because he can’t and won’t move.

It sounds like Max is in a lot of pain if he can't and won't move. It could also be that he injured himself. Based on the fact that he's urinating where he's laying, I would say he needs veterinary care now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
