My senior dog won't eat, can't walk, and has very dark urine.

Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 14 lbs

I'm the owner of 2 wonderful 14 y.o. cocker spaniels. One acts like she's still a younger dog. She runs, and pretty much is carefree. The other one, not so much. as of the start of the weekend last week (Friday) she has barely eaten anything, hasn't drank much water. When it comes time to go out to do her business, she can't get up on all fours and stand, let alone walk. I've had to physically carry her to and from. She's not vomiting, nor does she have the runs. Her urine is extremely dark.

I strongly recommend she be seen by your vet right away. Very dark urine can indicate blood in the urine and/or serious dehydration. She likely will need some supportive care, such as IV fluids to get her feeling better. As to what can have caused this, there are a number of possibilities. She may have eaten something that disagreed with her, gotten a bacterial or viral infection, as an older dog she could have developed a tumor or other hidden condition that is now manifesting as these symptoms. Your vet will do an exam, labwork, possibly xrays, and based on these results, will be better able to tell you what is wrong with her and offer you treatment options.
