My dog suddenly pees inside when I leave. Is it anxiety or behavior?

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 52 lbs

My dog just started peeing in the house everytime I leave which is not normal for him is this anxiety or an behavior he only does it when I’m gone

If this is a new behavior I would check a urine sample at your veterinarian's to have them make sure he doesn't have a urinary tract infection. He may need medication. I would also recommend neutering him especially if the urine is normal as this can be behavioral. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

    Have you have Junior checked out by a vet? Whenever a previously house trained dog starts peeing in the home, it could be due to a health problem such as a UTI. That would be the first step before attempting any training. I'd take him into the vet on Monday. Best of luck.
