My kitten has loose stools with mucus. Is it from a diet change?

Hello - my 1 month old persian male kitten had his 3rd loose stools with white mucus substance within a day. We weaned him of mother's milk to solid crushed royal canin wet food. Unfortunately, i assume that yesterday he ate out of his mother's wet food. Can you kindly help? Thanks

Sometimes mild diarrhea can occur when making this transition. However, if this continues, I recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and possible treatment.
