My kitten is having a hard time opening her eye. She has some discharge from it and is squinting. Are there eyedrops or anything I can do to help relieve the irritation?

It sounds like Lil Babe may have an eye infection. She's squinting because the eye is irritated and painful. You can try to gently flush her eye with cool water, but there are no OTC eyedrops you can give her. This is something that needs to be treated by a vet as soon as possible. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it needs to be examined and treated promptly. That's because leaving it can lead to vision loss. Please take her into a vet to have her eye examined and treated. Best of luck.
