My puppy won't eat, is lethargic, and tries to vomit. What's wrong?

My pup Layla won't get up she p don't wanna eat either but last couple days I think she been over eating I only had her for about 4 days she was fine till today morning it looked like she was wanted to throw up but couldn't n the days she did eat or drink water I noticed that she poops right after is that normal? And why do you think she ain't eating n is trying to vomit but can't

Hi there! Sorry to hear that Layla is not feeling well. The clinical signs you describe are concerning when they occur in a puppy as they can be seen with serious gastrointestinal infections such as Parvovirus. Other possibilities include intestinal worms and dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Layla evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings. At the very least they can address dehydration if present and start her on anti-nausea medications. Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed for your girl!
