Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 30 lbs

Hi I um I believe my dog is going to give birth already I'm not sure though cause this morning she wanted to stay in the living room but we closed it and then today as in right know I couldn't find her and well we have a restroom in the back and it's a little bit up and she was under there I thought she got stuck or something and I just out her inside and she wants to go back outside . Does this mean she's going to give birth already or ? I'm kinda nervous.

Ash could be nesting, but without seeing her in person, I can't say if she's going to give birth or not. I also don't know how far along she is in her pregnancy. Do not let her stay outside, it's not safe for her to give birth to her puppies out there. Take her out to potty on a leash, and bring her right back in when she's done. Set up a box with blankets for her in a quiet room. Take her temperature rectally twice daily. A dog's normal temperature is between 101-102.5F. Once it drops below 100F, she should give birth to her puppies within 24 hours. Should 24 hours pass after this temperature drop and she has not had puppies, or she reaches 69 days of pregnancy with no signs of going into labor, take her into a vet immediately. Best of luck, I hope this helps.
