Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 15 lbs
He has been limping and avoiding putting pressure on his back left leg. The first night I noticed, he ended up walking normal after I took a look at his foot, then yesterday evening he limped the entire night so I tried soaking his foot in Epsom salt. This morning he now, intermittently, will walk or run on the foot. Should I continue with the 10-15 minute soak, give it time, or see a vet?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Hiccup (cute name!) The Eposom salts would only work for irritation of the skin or a mild skin infection of the paw. If he has a strain/sprain, fractured toe, loose knee cap, or torn cruciate. I would strictly rest Hiccup and if he is not better by the end of the week I would have him seen by your Vet. Good luck!
