My dog has pyometra. Is long bleeding during heat normal? Antibiotics?

My dog was diagnosed with open pyometra 2 months ago n was given antibiotics on and off as she is 10 n surgery is risky.she started bleeding 20 days ago so I started to give antibiotics again for past 2 days but now I feel she is in heat.if in heat she has bleeding for more than 17 days.is it normal?also giving her antibiotics in heat will prevent future pyometra or should I stop giving them?n what precautions to prevent future pyometra?

Bleeding during heat can last up to 21 days but as i advised you yesterday- she needs to have the surgery done, her age is not a factor in this case, this will end very badly if you decide not to take her to have this surgery done.
