My paralyzed poodle is dragging his legs. Should I see a specialist?

Pet's info: Dog | Poodle | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 13 days old | 6 lbs

I have a 10 months old paralyzed poodle everything started when he was 3 months old . We took him to the vet several times the first time they gave us medicament he was crossing his legs while walking and now he is draging his legs while walking they said his bones are not the prob I think he have some kind of infection they said he won't walk again but he is improving he is always trying to stand up and he actually did several times and he moves his tail and legs pretty good . Any advice pls !

Based on what you are describing I would be concerned about a neurologic issue. I would recommend asking your vet for a referral to a veterinary neurologist. They can do some advanced imaging and testing that may help give more answers as to what is going on.
