Throwing up can have many causes. It is basically a problem with the stomach and intestines caused by a food over sensitivity, eating something that does not agree with the dog, intestinal parasites, bacterial infection, viral infection, the weather, food change, stress, etc. I would fast C.B. for 24 hours and then put her on bland food for two days, such as boiled white rice and boiled white boneless chicken meat, fed in small quantities over several feeds and then transition back to her regular food slowly over a few days. If if the vomiting increases, or if she does not start eating or she gets lethargic, she needs to see a veterinarian for an exam as there may be something more serious such as an infection going on.

Hello. Try to fast C>B for about 24 hours. No solid food. Ice cubes should replace her water ( or even frozen pedialyte to replace electrolytes ). If she continues to vomit into tomorrow, please see your vet. You do not want her to become dehydrated. If her stomach seems a little more settled, you can begin small amounts of boiled white rice & chicken, or a little low fat cottage cheese. Very small amounts given every few hours may be tolerable. Over the next few days, you can transition her back to her regular diet. But if the vomiting continues, or she develops any diarrhea, please see your vet as soon as possible. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
