Thank you for submitting your question regarding Mia. Puppies are not considered fully vaccinated until at least 16 weeks of age. Before this age, they are potentially unprotected. However, the puppies most crucial socialization window closes at 14 weeks of age. So it is important for the puppy to have as many different positive experiences as possible before this time. Puppy classes are a great option. Walks around the neighborhood and outdoor shopping centers are great ways for the puppy to meet new people. You need to avoid dog parks, areas highly trafficked by other dogs and hiking trails. I hope this information helps!

No, it is not safe until about two weeks after your puppy received its final vaccinations. If the two first rounds of vaccinations were done by a vet, then your puppy will need two more rounds of vaccinations. Please contact your veterinarian for an appointment about 2-3 weeks after his last round of vaccines. If the vaccinations were done by the breeder, I would not rely on them as there is always a possibility that the vaccine was not continuously cooled before use, and therefore may not be effective. You should have your puppy examined now to make suree you bought a healthy puppy.
