My dog is sick, not eating, panting, crying. Is it a vet emergency?

My dog has been sick about 5 times in 3 days, today she hasn't eaten at all and she keeps panting lots and crying. What could be wrong? Pet's info: Dog | Whippet | Female | spayed | 7 years and 5 months old | 10 lbs

Your dog may be suffering from a very painful pancreatitis or gastritis. As she is apparently distressed and not eating anymore, and in pain (panting is a sign of this) this is an emergency now and she needs to be seen by a veterinarian or at a pet ER. She could also be suffering from a gastric torsion. Pleas call your vet office. There will be emergenccy information on the answering machine.
