I have a male syrian hamster, 9 months. He's been sneezing the past three days. Only a few times while he's awake. He looks fine- eyes, nose and everything is normal. He's eating and drinking and is as active as he usually is (but he is generally a lazy hamster). I haven't changed anything in his cage, but I moved him to another room four days ago. Today I woke up by a loud noise coming from his cage. Is sounded like a long and "powerful" squeak- could this be a bad dream or sign of a cold?

This sign could be compatible with an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or possibly to a chronic rhinitis (inflammatory, allergic, infective). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
