My dog's ear has no odor. Could it still be an infection or yeast?

There can definitely be an ear infection without a lot of odor. Ear mites is another possibility as well. Unfortunately, you can’t tell by looking at it, if it’s yeast, bacteria or something else. You need to have an ear slide cytology performed where the vet will look at it under the microscope. Then they can provide you the correct medicine. You can use an ear cleaner to help remove the debris and keep the dog comfortable but it will not eliminate inhfection.
