Hi there, my 5 month old lab has had diorreah for a few days. I noticed she had been eating daisies so I put her on a field ban and onto chicken and rice diet. She's still this morning got a poorly tummy and has a strong chemical smell on her breath. She seems well in herself.

Diarrhea is a signs referring to a intestinal problem. It could be due to dietary indiscretion (daisies ingestion), parasitic infestation (common in puppies), bacterial diseases or viral diseases especially if Daisy is not vaccinated (i.e.: parvovirus).
You were doing good by providing bland food (boiled breast chicken and rice) for a couple of days but, if she continues to have diarrhea, might get dehydrated .
If you can spot blood in the faces or if she get lethargic and not eating, or if she start vomiting, or if the diarrhea won't get better I would suggest to have her checked by your veterinarian as soon as possible.
Bring a fecal sample with you as your vet might want to perform a fecal analysis. Good luck and post again on the forum if you need further advices. I hope my answer was helpful.
