My 2-month-old German Shepherd puppy has black poop. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 30 days old | 6 lbs

Hi. I have a 2-3 month old GSD pup. He is active and healthy but the only thing i am concerned is his stool color. The stool appears physically normal but the only things is, the stool color is black. I currently feed him royal canin maxi mother and babydog... Please help

Bruno's stool may just be very dark in color not black. He needs to see a veterinarian no regardless due to his age and making sure that he is a healthy puppy. I would recommend taking a stool sample with you to have them evaluate it. They will be able to check for parasites and let you know if the stool sample is truly black or just very dark that it appears black in color.
