My dog has diarrhea for days. Is pumpkin and yogurt helping or hurting?

Dog has had diarrhea since thursday. Still drinking water and eating pumpkin with kefier plain yogurt mixed in. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | 7 lbs

Poor Cooper! This diarrhea could be caused by a GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, intestinal worms, or a diet change. Do not give her yogurt. Dairy products cause GI upset in dogs, and that could be contributing to the diarrhea. Whenever a dog has been having diarrhea for more than 24 hours, it's time to see the vet. I would take her into the vet first thing Monday morning to diagnose the cause of it so she can be treated. Best of luck.
