There are white spots all over my turtle's shell, they are under the top layer of the shell, I thought they might just be air spots from the beginning of shedding, but my turtle had a little fungal infection on his arm when he emerged from hibernation, but we got that healed quickly, but I'm still a bit worried it might be something bad, the shell is strong, no smell, if I press hard on the shell with my nail the white mark on certain places moves out of the way for about 2-4 seconds. Thank you

If Leo is behaving normally, monitor the spots for now. Your original assessment (upcoming shedding) may be correct. Monitor for lethargy, decreased appetite, soft shell or worsening signs. Provide pristine water, adequate UVB lighting, a balanced diet, a multivitamin powder and a calcium supplement. All will promote shell health. If necessary, have him physically examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles.
