My dog is vomiting clear foam, not eating, and seems sad. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | 1 year old | 70 lbs

Today my dog started vomiting clear and it was a little foam in it. She is not eating nor is she active. My boyfriend thinks the neighbor poisoned her. Could she be poisoned? She looks sad and doesnt eat at all. She is drinking plenty of water tho. Please help

Poor Lola! I don't know your neighbors, but poison would be lower down my list of differentials for vomiting. I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
