my cat has some blood in urine. it is very clear and not noticable until she had a accident on a grey plastic matt. I did just get her a new litter box in the last 48 hours.

Poor Hazel! It could be she is suffering from idiopathic feline cystitis or bladder stones causing the blood in her urine. I would call the vet in the morning to make an appointment for her. The vet can do a physical exam, blood work, and a urinalysis to diagnose what is causing the blood in her urine, and can treat her for it. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
