Hey, my Staffordshire bull terrier is 5years old & has had a lump on his hsoulder since the age of 1, it has grown to be 2inches wide and half an inch in height and is a black/grey colour, its never harmes him but weve been too scared to bring him in as we are scared incase its cancer & scared incase we get in trouble for not getting him seen to sooner, his lump is starting to bleed so we are going to get him an appointment, will we get in trouble for not getting him seen to years ago?

No, of course you will not get in trouble for not getting him seen two years ago. The fact that the lump is now growing to the point where the skin opens and it is bleeding does point to a tumor. Hopefully it can be easily removed. Your vet will give your dog a thorough exam and will take a tissue sample to be sent to a laboratory to dedtermine if the mass is malignant or benign. Since it is bleeding it will need to be removed in order to avoid infections. I am sure your vet will discuss all the options once he has determined what kind of mass it is. It is obviously a slow growing mass, or your dog would have had problems much earlier.
