My dog is limping on his front paw after jumping. What's wrong?

My yorkiepoo limped a little after jumping off of the bed. He puts weight on it and walks fine but sometimes lifts his paw again. It just happened last night. I checked his paw for debris, and nothing is there. There is also no cut. I am thinking maybe a sprain but I'm not sure. He limped a little on a short walk today and when he jumped from the bed again after I tried to stop him. What is the limping on the front right paw because of?

The limping means that Kiko is in pain, and it could be he strained a ligament jumping off the bed. I recommend resting him for the next 48 hours. No running, jumping, or playing. Take him out to toilet on a lead only, and bring him right back in when he's done. If he still appears painful after this time, then I would take him into the vet for an exam. The vet can diagnose where the pain is coming from, and can dictate a treatment plan for it. He may also benefit from some pain medications, which the vet can prescribe. Please do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
