My senior dog has a large leg lump that's not a lipoma. What is it?

My 10 yr. old chocolate lab just developed a large plum-sized lump on his outer left hind leg. It isn’t hindering his walking or his getting up or down. It’s not a lipoma. What can it be? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 10 years and 7 months old | 91 lbs

Without an aspirate or biopsy we cannot say exactly what the growth is. I do recommend if it is large and not a lipoma consistency to have it removed by your veterinarian.
