Pet's info: Cat | Russian Blue | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 27 days old
I'm adopting a 1-2 months old kitten in a few days. I've seen that I have to feed him 4 times a day, but I'm not sure of how much food I have to give him. Can someone, please, tell me? Also, is it ok if I give him dry food (mixed with formula milk)?

Hello. It makes a bit of a difference if your kitten is 4 weeks or 8 weeks of age. At 4 weeks, you can offer food 4 times a day & allow the kitten to eat as much as she wants in a 10-15 minute period of time. At 8 weeks of age, you can leave dry food out all day as most cats do like to nibble throughout the day. You can absolutely mix the dry & the formula together but by 8 weeks of age, I would stop the formula & just use the dry food. You can also offer canned kitten food several times a day, too if you wish. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
