My new stray kitten has runny eyes and sneezes. What should I do?

Adopted stray kitten. He had been outside in the smoke for weeks. Has dry nose,sneezing, runny eyes. ,eating and drinking fine. Breathing normally. What could be the cause of runny eyes and what to do?

He could have smoke damage to his upper respiratory tract or an upper respiratory infection that will need veterinary attention. Keep him inside for now and make an appointment with your veterinarian for an exam. He may need antibiotic and/or antiviral treatment.
