Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I'm sorry to hear about Shaggy. I would not recommend giving him chicken bones, as these can be very irritating to the stomach and intestines and slow healing or resolution of his stomach disease. You can offer him a bland diet of boiled chicken meat and rice (no bones), in a ratio of 2 parts rice to 1 part meat (no bones). This may help soothe his stomach. If he does not eat for longer than 24 hours, I recommend having him evaluated by a veterinarian. He/she may recommend blood work to evaluate for a systemic cause of his vomiting, and/or x-rays of his abdomen to look for evidence of foreign material or even an obstruction in his intestines, which can be a surgical emergency. I hope this is helpful!
