Our 7yo golden retriever presented with blood in urine Eating, drinking acting normal. Collected samples with blood tinged color and clots throughout. Appt soon. He had an accident today in the house when we noticed the problem.

It could be that Rookie has a UTI or bladder stones. He definitely does need an appointment with the vet to treat this problem. In the meantime, feed him canned food and add water to it, and make sure he drinks plenty of water to flush the bladder. Best of luck.
