Why does my dog's face keep swelling after she goes outside?

My dogs face keeps swelling up, it seems to be after she goes outside but I can’t figure out what it is... Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 45 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is most likely due to an allergic reaction to something in the environment that she is having contact with when she goes outside. This is usually treated with anti-histamine medications like Benadryl and steroids and most importantly by avoiding the factor inducing the allergies. I highly recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a great day!
