Why are my kittens going limp then recovering? Is it neurological?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

I have a question about my 4 2month old kittens. they have to this day been very healthy happy kittys, last Monday one of them went limp, I thought the worst, I hand fed it, water too. and within about 4 days the kitten was fine like nothing was ever wrong with it then another one did the same I did the same and it was also fine now yesterday another one did the same and I am hoping for the same results. but I find this weird. it seemed to be more of a neuro problem. not a illness. anything

If all kittens in the litter are being affected I would suspect either something genetic, environmental, nutrition related or some sort of contagious illness affecting them all. Since you have an entire litter affected, it would be best to seek out veterinary care ASAP so that all of the kittens can be examined, tested as needed and treated for any underlying conditions causing their symptoms.
