My kitten is throwing up and has diarrhea. Is it serious? What to do?

My kitten just started to throw up and now does have diarrhea? Is this something I should be really worried about

Yes, I would be worried. Any vomiting and diarrhea in a young kitten like this is cause for serious concern. They get easily dehydrated by losing fluids via vomiting and diarrhea. I suggest you get him to a vet as soon as possible for an exam and treatment. These symptoms could be due to almost any illness or disease process but most commonly I would be worried about a viral disease, obstruction in the GI tract or internal parasites (worms).
