What's causing my 10-year-old cat's oozing eye and cheek lump?

Our cat tabby has an oozing eye and a sensitive lump on her cheek near her nose. She has been sleeping In a dark quiet room for a week. She is eating but mostly soft food. She's about 10 years old. Worriec

This lump should be checked as soon as possible as it could actually represent an abscess, possibly coming from the teeth. A picture of it would be essential to determine more specifically the underlying cause and give you more precise answers.
