Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 75 lbs
My dog Zeus has been acting out of character recently. He has become really snappy with my other dogs. I have his mother and father, his sister, and a small dog that I dont know her breed but we rescued her. They have all been there all of his life. Zeus caught Parvo at 3 months old, we nursed him back to health and he has been a very happy and playful puppy. He just turned a year old May 11. Could the Parvo have effected his brain, that wouldn't show up until later?

We don't normally see neurological or behavioral effects after parvo virus infection. We can, however, see behavioral changes as pets reach sexual maturity, particularly if they are not neutered. I would recommend having your vet examine him to be sure he isn't having any unidentified pain or illness making him crabby and to discuss neutering him and behavior modification that may help his situation.
