Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 4 years and 7 months old

Hi.my dog had vomiting( white foamy) and diarrhoea after a few times a day, the next morning he had a vomit once and diarrhoea during the day. After the morning he had a nice stool and no vomiting until late evening when it’s started again. This morning he is ok again, nice poo. He is eating, drinking, playing, his temperature is normal. What can be the problem please? He didn’t have any problems during the nights. Also he was panting a lot but it’s quite hot, my fan is on all the time. Thanks E

These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver) which commonly are caused by dietary indiscretion. If the signs occur again, a clinical examination at your local veterinarian would be ideal to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may in case be needed.
