My cat izzy just got de-sexed nearly a week ago now, after surgery she has been coughing, wheezing and sneezing alot i have been given some antibiotics but she is the same and now she has just sneezed out a little bit of blood, is this normal? And should the antibiotics be working by now she's been on them for 5 days.

If the upper respiratory signs were caused by a bacteria and not resistant to whatever antibiotic she is on, then it should be starting to get better. I would probably have her looked at again. Most likely she was starting to come down with the upper respiratory infection and then the surgery dropped her immune system a bit. It can be common to see this after a stressful situation. They may need to prescribe a different antibiotic or try and culture the nasal passages to try and determine a good antibiotic. Put her in the bathroom with you while you shower and let the moisture help her nasal passages too. It can help
