My cockatiel is at grandma's. Will loud TV volume stress or harm her?

Pet's info: Bird | Cockatiel | Female

I am keeping my cockatiel at my grandma's house for a week since I'm going on vacation. My grandma is hard of hearing and so when she watches T.V, the volume is really loud. Will this harm my bird?

Hello there, It shouldn't harm Luna to listen to loud TV, but it may stress her out. Stressed birds may pick their feathers, go without eating, and become more prone to infections. That being said, many cockatiels are very laid back birds that don't get as stressed about new situations as say, a macaw, might. You know Luna best! You can turn on some loud TV at home to see how she reacts to the noise, and that may give you some piece of mind as well. I hope this is helpful!
