Why is my dog so inactive, sleeping all day, and not eating?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 7 months old

Oscar is not very active these days. He is eating well but doesn't seems interesting in food. He is in sleeping mode all the day. Why?

Loss of appetite and decreased activity can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Oscar evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam.
